 Hi, I'm Robin Koza and I own Glass Diversions. After 10+ years in the corporate world, I knew something was missing and that I was ready to move on to something fun. Over the years, I had also delved into artistic endeavors like nail technician, permanent makeup artist, website designer, faux painter and many, many more. I'm still a professional graphic artist (website designer) by day but I knew I needed some other type of artistic outlet to keep me satisfied. I had spent years learning anything that caught my artistic interest until discovering my true passion...lampworking. I absolutely love it! The call of the torch has been irresistible.
Within a couple of days after my first lampworking class, I had devoted a portion of my craft studio to lampworking. At that time, unfortunately my job was demanding more hours from me so the lampworking was put on hold for about a year. Before long, the torch was calling me once again and this time I just couldn't ignore it. I ended up taking over our den with a propane/oxy concentrator and Bobcat set-up. It took a few months to make the changes to my work schedule but the call of the torch could not be denied. Since I've gotten back into lampworking I've had this obsession with glass frit (especially after taking a Loren Stump class) and developing my own custom blends. With my business and lampworking experience the next step just seemed logical. That's when Glass Diversions was born. I plan on devoting the next portion of my life to Glass Diversions, you, my family and dear friends. Thanks for your support!
My team consists of myself, my wonderfully supportive husband Rob who is in charge of the shipping and receiving when I'm out of town helping me label and package our products to you, and of course our fabulous frit testers.
